Award Accreditation Process

Our accreditation scheme has two levels so that people can be rewarded for progress, our two levels are foundation and enhanced. The areas within each level are:

  • Our organisation (which covers your organisations’ leadership and culture)
  • Health and Safety
  • Communication
  • Recruitment and Retention
  • Mental Wellbeing and Stress Reduction
  • Back Pain and Prevention
  • Stopping Smoking
  • Alcohol and Substance Misuse
  • Physical Activity (including active travel)
  • Healthy Eating
  • Personal Safety and Environmental Health and Wellbeing

The accreditation scheme is completely flexible allowing you to upload evidence for both levels of awards as you wish. The steps below will guide you through the process.

Foundation

  1. When you log in, you will see that your dashboard is split to reflect the two award levels: Foundation and Enhanced. To achieve the Foundation Level, you must complete all of the question’s underneath ‘Foundation’.
  2. Once your evidence is uploaded, we will review and get in contact with you to let you know if your submission has been approved.

Enhanced

  1. To achieve the Enhanced Level, you must complete all of the question’s underneath ‘Enhanced’.
  2. To meet the criteria for Enhanced, you must first have your Foundation submission approved. Please note this doesn’t stop you uploading evidence beforehand.
  3. Once your evidence is uploaded, we will review this and get in contact with you to let you know if your submission has been approved.
